Forms and contact
When you suggest a correction or a new location, we process the information entered, source links, suggestion type, relationship to the location, submission time and optional email. We use these to check the suggestion and request clarification where needed. We do not publish the submission or applicant contact email or use them for marketing. Verified relevant location information may be published. Email is optional; without it we cannot contact you for clarification. We do not send automatic replies.
Health and unnecessary data
Do not send test results, medical records or personal information unnecessary for correcting the directory. The website is not a health-results repository. Only authorized administrators can access submissions.
Legal basis and directory information
Website operation and security, handling suggestions and directory accuracy rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Professional directory information comes from provider websites, public directories, registers and verified suggestions; sources are shown with the service. We assess objections to personal-data listings individually.
Retention of suggestions
We keep submission contents and optional contact while handling the suggestion and for no more than 12 months after closure. Inactive suggestions are reviewed regularly. Limited process records remain for no more than three years after closure: identifier, type, status, dates and internal decisions without applicant contact or submission contents. Verified public location information and evidence of changes serve the separate purpose of directory accuracy; deleting a submission does not itself remove them. We periodically review their necessity.
Operational logs and backups
Our operational logs support security and troubleshooting, may contain IP address, time and technical request information, and are kept for no more than 14 days. We exclude form contents, contact email and authentication secrets. Private backups are kept for no more than 30 days. Data removed from the active system may therefore remain in a protected backup until it expires; before normal operation resumes after restoration, the deletion is applied again. Where specific data is necessary for a particular legal claim or legal obligation, only the necessary information is retained for the required period.
Analytics, local storage and sign-in
We do not use visitor analytics or advertising tracking. Your browser locally stores the light or dark theme preference as telomapa-theme until website data is cleared; it is not a visitor identifier. Internal administration uses the essential telomapa_admin login cookie for at most eight hours or until logout. Passwords and cookies must not enter operational logs.
Location and map tiles
The website requests location for sorting only after your click and browser permission. Coordinates remain in browser memory; we do not send them to submissions, the directory or analytics. Displaying a map makes browser requests to OpenFreeMap for the viewed area. Its operator Hyperknot Software Kft. and possible network providers receive IP and technical request information. Provider details and its own retention rules: https://openfreemap.org/privacy/. Our 14-day limit does not apply to its systems.
Recipients and data transfers
Authorized controller staff and, where necessary, hosting, technical support and email providers have access to data. Internal submission notifications contain neither the applicant email nor suggestion text. Contact info@telomapa.cz for information about a particular recipient and any transfer outside the EEA. Linked provider websites follow their own privacy rules.
Your rights
Contact info@telomapa.cz for access, correction, erasure, restriction or an objection. Portability applies where its legal conditions are met. You may complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or the competent supervisory authority. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Providing contact details is voluntary.
