What the results tell you

BC720 adds water analysis, extracellular-water ratio and phase angle to regional fat and muscle results. It uses six frequencies from 1 to 1000 kHz and has a 270 kg scale capacity. Compared with BC300, the distinction is the range of water and electrical outputs. These require professional context, particularly with unusual hydration. Blood-pressure and height measurement require additional connected equipment.

How the test works

You stand barefoot on the platform and, where provided, hold the hand contacts as instructed. The analyser records electrical impedance and uses equations with weight and other inputs to estimate composition. Fat and muscle are not separately weighed. Contact, posture and correctly entered height are part of the procedure.

When the test is useful

BC720 provides outputs for consultations also addressing water and electrical metrics. Choose a location able to explain them in your context. Frequency count alone justifies neither more frequent testing nor a diagnosis from phase angle. Compare the same protocol and record altered hydration or appointment circumstances.

Preparing for your visit

Obtain preparation instructions for the exact model and keep the time of day similar. Meals, exercise and hydration can affect results, making a post-workout reading poorly comparable with a rested visit. Maintain your usual hydration and record changed circumstances. Reading results and understanding limitations

BIA is an indirect estimate dependent on the model and conditions. A small change can reflect water or routine variability rather than fat loss. Results from different instruments are not a single interchangeable series. More frequencies or outputs alone do not establish greater accuracy. A report is not a standalone diagnosis, and estimated muscle quantity does not measure strength.
